Minutes of the Meeting
Call to Order: President Pete Gulliver called the annual
meeting of the Carolina Shores Property Owners Association to order
at 3:00 P.M.
Board
Members Present: Pete Gulliver, Al Franklin, Brent Kerry Jarrell,
Jan Knorr, John Manning, and Mike Riccitelli. Absent: Al Franklin and
Bob Jones.
Annual
Election on Officers: Pete asked John Manning to address the
membership. John explained the process of voting and counting ballots
for the annual election of the board of directors. John asked if there
were any nominations from the floor. Hearing none, he declared the nominations
closed. John asked if any ballots had not been turned in. There were
none.

Pete recognized
Jan Knorr and thanked Jan for her contributions during her two year
term on the Board.
Kerry Jarrell
provided a report on the budget results for 2010. Kerry reported that
the CSPOA had been successful in generating a budget surplus due to
revenues exceeding the budget by one percent and expenditures having
been held to 96 per cent of the total budget.
Kerry also reported
on the Reserve Fund Workshop, which was held on January 31, 2011. The
Workshop committees had recommended two projects, resurfacing the pool
deck and resurfacing the pool plaster surface, for 2011.
Mike Riccitelli
reported that bids had been received for the pool work and the pool
should be ready for use by mid May.
John announced
the results of the election of officers. Pete Gulliver, Al Franklin,
and Kerry Jarrell were all three re-elected to the Board. A write-in
candidate, Brent Horten had also been elected.
Pete thanked
the residents for attending the meeting.
The meeting
was adjourned at 3:40 P.M.
