Members of the former New Friends group had a great time on Tuesday recollecting our memories of the group. We recounted so many fun times and humorous stories.  We remembered  going on trips to the beach and movie outings. We had fun sampling area restaurants and enjoying expeditions offered by the wonderful travel team: the Moveable Feast, Raleigh, Swansboro, The Collector's Cafe, Pelican baseball games, the Culinary Institute, Wilmington Christmas house tour, Southport, Wilmington shopping excursions to The Ivy Cottage, a Caribbean cruise, and much more.  We took turns offering clever programs and inviting guest speakers. This group started the tradition of a Thanksgiving dinner for the community, set up a donation box for the food bank, kept frozen dinners on hand for neighbors in need, and contributed to the Southwest Brunswick Interchurch Council (S.B.I.C). for their food drives, We formed precious lifetime friendships and wonderful memories.
