Carolina Shores Clubhouse / Library

In addition to the POA monthly and annual board meetings, the POA clubhouse has been used for many events including ladies’ coffees, garden and sewing groups, bridge, poker, handicrafts and exercise groups, just to mention a few. The clubhouse is available and open to all members in good standing and available to be rented out to those members.
A library has been established inside the clubhouse with a wide variety of books, magazines, and other materials. This has been accomplished by donations from our Carolina Shores residents and we invite all members to stop in and visit. Volunteers maintain the library.

Carolina Shores POA Pool

The Carolina Shores Swimming Pool is open for all members in good standing to enjoy. The pool area also includes a 1 foot kiddie pool for toddlers, a large deck around the pool to enjoy the daily Carolina sunshine, fresh water shower, updated furniture and also internet service. Pool hours are from 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. and are open daily for general use. On Monday through Saturday a community water aerobics group has exclusive use of the pool from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Everyday members may use the pool for lap swimming only between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 am. Tuesday evenings after 5:00 p.m. are reserved for Adult Swim only.

Carolina Shores Tennis and Pickleball Courts

Tennis and Pickleball Courts are available and used for the enjoyment of all CSPOA members in good standing, their immediate families and their guests. The tennis courts are reserved for Open Tennis every Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and is open to all members and their guests.
If you’ve never played Pickleball, prepare to have a new passion. This friendly sport is a mix of tennis, badminton and Ping-Pong. Played with a small paddle and Wiffle ball, Pickleball is extremely popular in many resort communities and has quickly become a favorite among residents. No Tennis or Pickleball after the hours of 10:00 p.m.

Bocce Ball Courts

Bocce ball or simply “bocce” has its origins in games played by the ancient Romans. The sport is popular in Europe and in many active communities like Carolina Shores. If you are interested in taking up bocce ball, feel free to play. Bocce ball courts are covered in artificial turf. Our bocce ball courts are located at the tennis courts and picnic area. 

Pavilion Area

The Carolina Shores POA Pavilion Area is near the pool and courts.The POA holds multiple events here including the Memeorial Day picnic and Happy Hour in the Park on the third Friday of the month during the warmer weather. Residents are welcome to use the pavilion throughout the year for their own use. The pavilion can be rented out to residents for special events like a birthday party or wedding reception. Carolina Shores Golf and Driving Range

Carolina Shores Golf & Country Club is a beautiful golf course that was built in 1974 by Tom Jackson. The golf course offers a traditional layout that challenges golfers of all skill levels. Tree-lined fairways guide golfers through a beautiful natural landscape with strategically placed water hazards. Members playing should ask for the resident cost that is available. The Golf Course is a separate entity from the Carolina Shores community.

Clubs
The Carolina Shores POA is home to many clubs within the POA and the clubhouse itself. With so many clubs to choose from, finding an interest should be easy. Clubs within the POA clubhouse meet throughout the month on a regular schedule. A list of clubs, contact persons and phone numbers are available.
